What is your definition of reality?.
Is reality what a scientist says it is? Is reality what a priest says it is? Is reality what it teachers says it is? Is reality what the news says it is?
I think you may agree that in fact the most important reality in the universe s what you are perceiving from your particular vantage point. And you have a much bigger part in what you are perceiving then you may well realize.
It is a well-known fact that no two people see things in exactly the same way. As a matter of fact there's really no way to prove that any two people see anything exactly the same way.
Which means that the same things that may make one person miserable could quite likely make another person happy. A good example are masochists. They enjoy pain. Personally I don't enjoy pain very much at all.
So a masochist has figured out a certain perspective on pain that allows them to receive enjoyment from it. They control their perspective on pain.
Now if one human being can control their perspective so that they receive pleasure when another inflicts pain on them do you think maybe you could change your perspective enough so that if somebody cuts you off in traffic or delays your shopping progress by a few minutes it doesn't bother you?
We are taught how to control everything else in life BUT our viewpoint of the world. Yet it is completely within our best interest to control our viewpoint of the world.
We are rarely taught how to manipulate our perspective on life to serve our best interest.
Think about it. Does it serve you best to go through life in fear or anger? Or does it serve you best to go through life in joy?
Never forget it is your decision. It has nothing to do with what the outside world is allegedly doing to you.
It really is a matter of self-interest. You are the one who has to live this life in this body, no one else. How do you want to see every day? How do you want to feel when you wake up? And how do you when I feel when you go to sleep?
Personally I spent decades going through life in fear and stress. Not once did I feel that that state of mind serve my best interest. It was hellish.
Since I switched to a perspective of joy on life I am absolutely sure that this perspective serves my best interest. I am happier. I am healthier. I am more focused. I am loads of fun for other people to be with. I wake up every morning with a smile on my face anxious to get involved with a new day of joyous adventures.
So I have made my choice. I choose seeing life through perspective of joy. And I give everyone else the freedom of seeing life through whatever perspective they decide is in their best interest.
It is a choice. I know that may sound totally crazy to you right now. But you will see.
